AIREXSA (All India Reemployed Ex-Servicemen Association) is a nationally recognized, registered organization dedicated to representing and supporting the rights of reemployed ex-servicemen across India. The Association is officially recognized by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoP&T), Government of India.
Since its inception, AIREXSA has worked tirelessly to address the unique challenges faced by ex-servicemen who continue to serve the nation in various civil capacities after their military retirement. We aim to bridge the gap between policies and the ground realities for reemployed veterans, ensuring they receive the respect, benefits, and rights they have earned through their double service to the nation.
Our Core Objectives
At AIREXSA, we focus on key issues that affect the dignity and welfare of reemployed ex-servicemen:
🔹 Pay Re-fixation
Advocating for proper pay fixation in the reemployed post in accordance with service benefits and court directions.
🔹 Leave Encashment Rights
Securing encashment of 300 days of leave for ex-servicemen in the reemployed post, acknowledging their past service.
🔹 Fair Transfer Policy
Demanding a compassionate and beneficial transfer policy for reemployed veterans to accommodate family and resettlement needs.
🔹 Restoration of Old Pension Scheme
Fighting for the abolition of the National Pension System (NPS) and advocating for the restoration of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) for reemployed ex-servicemen.
🔹 Promotion & Exam Weightage
Ensuring that ex-servicemen receive appropriate weightage in departmental exams and promotional considerations, recognizing their prior defence service.
🔹 Exemption from Probation
Campaigning for the abolition of the probation period for reemployed ex-servicemen in light of their proven track record of discipline and experience.
